For many families and young adults with autism, the idea of living independently might feel intimidating. However, our resources at our residences on Ada and Racine make the transition easier.

 

Both three-bedroom townhomes are located within walking distance of our original residential project, Project 1212, and there are continuous opportunities to interact with all UAS residents. Our Ada and Racine homes are situated in a pedestrian-friendly, neighborhood on the near West Side of Chicago with immediate access to public transportation. Previously known as “Little Italy,” this neighborhood is within one mile of Rush University Medical Center and our Growing Solutions Farm, and is within easy walking distance of downtown Chicago
