Norma Noriega
My name is Norma Noriega, I am twenty-nine years old. I grew up in the southwest suburb of Joliet and came to Chicago for my undergraduate studies and stayed because it’s Chicago! I attended UIC and graduated in 2016 with my bachelors in Urban Elementary Education. I spent the last 6 years as a CPS teacher. I consider myself a strong advocate for public education and autism acceptance and appreciation. I like to read, dance, go to the gym, and snuggle with my two kitties, Chuchi & Gus. I’m a proud daughter of indigenous Mexican immigrants, sister to three amazing women, and an aunt to my adorable nephew & niece.
