Alyssa Burns

Alyssa joined UAS in 2022 as a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She works with students in the UAS Life Lab program and at the UAS West Side Transition Academy where she helps students build their social and communication skills.

Alyssa earned her bachelor’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Western Michigan University and holds a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Alyssa is passionate about supporting individuals with autism and has worked with both children and adults. She is also very committed to health and fitness, and loves to incorporate this into her practice when she can!
